- Take regular care of your skis and fix the sliding surface when needed
- It is particularly important to sharpen the edges of your skis
- Check the safety of berths and lubricate them properly
- Maintain or improve physical condition

At the beginning of the ski day, warm up properly and stretch your body with some exercise, and then go to the ski-slope. Sledding is a wonderful experience, but so far we lack real trails for sledding. In many places, skiers and sliders are mixing which is particularly dangerous and it represents the source of many serious accidents on snow.

Therefore, it is necessary to:
- Observe and respect signs prohibiting sledding on the ski slopes
- Sled in especially designated areas for sledding
- Pay special attention on the young skiers and children who are not aware of skiing in front of you, and can suddenly turn left or right, and that will make the clash is inevitable
- Avoid sledding at the foot of the mountain because the trails are often narrow, icy and full of pedestrians
